Book Review: "Spark the Flames" by Ivy Asher

I already knew I loved Ivy Asher’s books, so my expectations for “Spark the Flames” were high - and she absolutely delivered.

Dragon shifters, revenge, forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers tension, found family, and a deliciously slow-burning romance? This book had practically everything I want in a romantasy.

Ever is fierce, stubborn, powerful, and determined to get answers about what happened to her family. Then she’s captured by Aeson - the second Scion of the Dragon Horde who is supposed to be her enemy - and the tension between them was SO GOOD. Their constant push and pull kept me completely invested, and I loved watching their relationship slowly shift as more secrets were revealed.

Ivy Asher always writes the kind of strong, complicated heroines I immediately become attached to, along with powerful men who are possessive, protective, and just morally gray enough to keep things interesting. Ever and Aeson were no exception.

The world-building, mystery, banter, chemistry, and twists all worked together perfectly, and that ending left me desperate to know what happens next. I absolutely devoured this one and will be impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

An easy five stars and another reminder of why Ivy Asher continues to be an auto-buy author for me!
